Spirit of Speyside 10 Year Old - 2009
Released especially for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival in 2009, this is a very rare and collectible bottle of blended malt whisky. It was made up of 33 different single malts from Speyside, all of which was aged for more than 10 years before bottling. Each bottle is signed by the blender Ed Dodson.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Biscuity, creamy aromas of vanilla and barley malt. A little spice and cooked fruit.
Palate
Thick spice and toffee apples. Baked fruit, malt, black pepper and toasted oak.
Finish
Rich, creamy, long finish. Hints of spice.
Overall
A delightfully malty whisky from Speyside.
