The fifth release in Spirit of Hven's long-running Seven Stars series (all named after a star in the Ursa Major constellation). This peated Swedish single malt was finished in 500 litre casks which previously held a dry Oloroso Sherry, imparting nutty sweetness to the whisky.
Rolling tobacco and earthy smoke, joined by touches of malty chocolate and peanut shells.
Honey-roasted nuts, coffee beans and soft oak-y spices.
Lingering smoke and sugared almonds.
