This 1994 vintage single malt from the Speyside Distillery spent a mighty 28 years maturing in a single bourbon hogshead. The cask was opened by Limited in 2023, independently releasing a total of 173 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Fruity scents dominate, with aromas of plums, strawberries, raspberries, and peaches. Cinnamon spice also present.
Palate
Rich, complex, and intense. Ginger and turmeric spices provide a vibrant awakening. Flavours of plums, liquorice, and coffee beans also come through. Mouthfeel is rich and creamy.
Finish
Long and spicy, with a lingering presence of cinnamon spice.
