Speyburn single malt from the Speyside Distillery here, independently bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Golden Cut Collection. Distilled in 2016, this single malt finished its eight-year maturation in Port casks, bringing layers of jammy red fruit. A release of 282 bottles.
Juicy red fruits and fruit-laden pastries join woody spice and vinous oak.
Jammy redcurrants and dark fruits, dark caramel, malt loaf, and baking spice.
Those sweet spices and rich fruits linger, with biscuity malt and bold oak in tow.
