SPEY Byron's Choice The Marriage
As with SPEY's Royal Choice, this bottling celebrates the fact that when Lord Byron married Annabelle Millbanke in 1815 he gifted a barrel of whisky from the Speyside distillery to King George III. This is a limited edition of 1,200 bottles of Port cask matured single malt.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Red fruit, candied peels, dried apricot and caramel brittle.
Palate
Honeyed nuts, pepper, lemon and and a little mint.
Finish
Sweet caramel.
