didn't recognize the brand so I gave it a shot at $20 USD... I have had maybe 20-25 different Scotches and Irish Whiskey in the past few years...definitely at the bottom of my list...you live and learn but for $20 you can't complain...though I have finally found what I would call "cheap Scotch" but easier to drink than say a Dewars or Johnny Walker
Very disappointed after high expectations
My friend and I have been drinking Drumguish for years now. Dollar for dollar, with the absence of any of the peat or smoky flavor of more traditional Scotches, I find Drumguish to be very satisfying.
Got a bottle for 17.00 on sale. Vice nice whiskey for the price.
For the price, it's not horrible. My bottle was a gift; you can't beat free! I thought it was rather smooth, which surprised me. The nose is a bit muddled, though slightly pleasant. I'd be interested to try the later releases from The Speyside distillery.
