A bottling of Speyburn from The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper's Choice series, dubbed "Speyside Reserve". This single malt was initially matured in American oak before being treated to a second maturation in ex-Ruby Port casks, imparting a wealth of dark fruit and spices to the whisky. A release of 420 bottles at 56% ABV.
Spiced banana bread, plump raisin, and marzipan.
Chilli milk chocolate, black cherry, and a hefty dose of ginger.
Cinnamon sticks and more chocolate linger.
