Bradan Orach is Gaelic for Golden Salmon, the very best kind of salmon. A no age statement Speyburn, named for the River Spey, a great spot for salmon fishing.
Fruity, malty. Orchard fruits, blossom, hints of light citrus, creamy.
Fruity and balanced. Lots of creamy vanilla, hints of spice. Oak.
Quite long, oak, spice.

Received this as a gift , glad I didn't spend the $ on it even as cheap as it is. It has a taste closer to an Irish whisky rather then a single malt highland scotch, but not a good Irish whisky. There is a chemical like after taste that I can't exactly place but it is not enjoyable at all. The first scotch I have ever poured out rather then finishing. Tried it with a little water and over rocks nothing improves its bad taste
No, it's not the best scotch, but it's great as a mixer — even with just soda. Sips past #1 get better and better. And I find it good for slow sipping relaxed at home. To get better, you will pay double.
A complex array of tastes, none of them particularly good. It's hard to believe that this is a single malt as it drinks like a budget blended whiskey. I'm in no rush to revisit this one.
Was given some for Christmas. Tastes like turps!
Some folks taste tequila, what did you do to your tastebuds recently?
