Bradan Orach is Gaelic for Golden Salmon, the very best kind of salmon. A no age statement Speyburn, named for the River Spey, a great spot for salmon fishing.
Fruity, malty. Orchard fruits, blossom, hints of light citrus, creamy.
Fruity and balanced. Lots of creamy vanilla, hints of spice. Oak.
Quite long, oak, spice.

Nice young whisky that combines natural Speyside cerealy and zesty notes with aging in American bourbon creating quite a good mouthfeel in my opinion!
Much better than the experts suggest, and nicer than some more expensive tipples. Give it a go with a drop of water; you won't be disappointed.
Went to a friend's birthday last night and we did a whisky taste. Two Speyside ones and two Isle ones. This Speyburn was in the speyside category, and came very last compared to the others. Light body, floral aroma, terrible taste flavour like drinking a cologne, and the finish is even worse you are left with chemical artificial like sensation that takes a while to go away. Drink it if you want a to know the bad and the ugly of speyside! I don't claim to be a professional whisky judge but come on, how can people give any more than one star to this one?
The people here comparing this whiskey to tequila has probably never tasted neither before. Are there better whiskeys on the market? Without a doubt yes. Buy the Speyburn 10 instead, for an example. But the Bradan Orachar is not as bad as tequila. Would I buy it again however? No. Like I said before, there are a lot better options on the market. If you are on a budget, buy a blend, Hankey Bannister original perhaps. Tomas
This is utterly terrible. I was given this as a Christmas present and on first glance I thought it looked ok. I cracked it open and honestly it tastes like tequila and methylated spirit mixed. There's no class at all. It's rough, sharp, chemical-like and leaves you smiling behind your ears. I've tried mixing it but the vile chemical taste can't be subdued. My girlfriend said we should have looked it up before opening it then we would have known and so given it away to someone else as a present ... but I WOULDN'T GIVE THIS TO MY WORST ENEMY. How on earth can they knowingly produce this?
