Bradan Orach is Gaelic for Golden Salmon, the very best kind of salmon. A no age statement Speyburn, named for the River Spey, a great spot for salmon fishing.
Fruity, malty. Orchard fruits, blossom, hints of light citrus, creamy.
Fruity and balanced. Lots of creamy vanilla, hints of spice. Oak.
Quite long, oak, spice.

I just bought a bottle at my local liquor store and I was looking for something not to pricey and I chose this over the Glenmorangie 10. I'll be honest I was surprised at first sip, a little sweet, kinda fruity with a hint of smoke. Very good for the price.
This and the Major's Reserve are too young to be considered for anything but mixing. Cheap and not too cheerful.
Vile!
Love, love, love this whisky!
First of all, my rating is for its quality as a single malt; I am ignoring the price, which is very competitive. I had 6 samples on my most recent order, and just randomly tasted without looking at what I was drinking. I admired the colour (which, let's be honest, is not natural) and I found the nose to be quite promising; some soft orchard fruit, some confectionary, not bad! Upon tasting, it's obviously young. Not terrible, by any means, but grain and wood, to taste, with a lot of concentration, if you want to identify sweet notes. It's cheap and, as such, basic. Take a Glen Grant Major's Resv, IMO. Plainly, others, below disagree with me and they're right and so am I. Aren't single malts brilliant!?
