A mysterious Speyside single malt from independent bottler South Star Spirits. This particular expression was distilled in 2011 and given ten years to mature in ten first-fill hogshead, until it was bottled up at 48% ABV. With a whole load of distilleries in Speyside, it might be tough figuring out which one was responsible for this whisky, so perhaps just enjoy it for what it is – delicious!
Lemon cheesecake, maple syrup, and a whiff of floral barley.
Salted caramel, more citrus brightness, and warm oaky spices.
Apple pie with brown sugar and nutmeg.

Great value summer whisky. Very easy to drink!
Mango, Turkish delight, lemon, a little banana. Might be too sweet for some, but not for me. Absolutely fantastic value for money.
