    Single Malt

Pluscarden Valley 21 Year Old 1994 (cask WA020) - Whisky is Class...ical (Silver Seal)

A 21 year old Speyside single malt from Silver Seal's Whisky is Class...ical range - no idea which distillery in Speyside it came from, but we do know it was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2015. Also, unlike the other whisky named Pluscarden Valley release for the same bottling series, this one features a homage to Antonio Vivaldi's Le Quattro Stagioni on the label. A suggestion that this is a whisky for all seasons? Perhaps...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Apricot, butterscotch and some oak-y cinnamon.

    Palate

Red wine-like sweetness of berries and chocolate, with plenty of barley to back it up.

    Finish

A subtle hint of cardamom and rye on the finish.
