From the Sierra Norte series of Mexican whiskies comes an expression made with native Oaxacan black corn. With a mash bill of 85% Oaxacan corn and 15% malted barley, the whiskey aged single French oak barrels before being bottled at 45% ABV.
Cherry jam, orange peel, a vegetal note and banana peel.
Fairly funky, with ripe plantain and banana, coffee bean, rich brown sugar and salted caramel.
Marzipan, vanilla sponge and a touch of dusty oak.
