A splendid blended malt, Sheep Dip is comprised of over a dozen Scotch single malts that have been matured for at least five years in a variety of first-fill sherry, first-fill bourbon, and refill oak casks. Great retro packaging too. The only thing is, the picture of the sheep on the bottle doesn't actually look like a sheep, it actually looks like an angry spaniel with horns.
Fragrant with notes of the coast, tangy, malty, honey, toffee. Youthful.
Rich, warming, malty, young and spirity.
Punchy, tangy.
wonderful aroma, taste and a beautifull feeling when you drink it . But what you don't do is kill it with adding anything to it just have it neat ...
color: amber nose: spice & fruit, a very gentle smokiness palate: fairly complex, some fruit, floral notes, spice and smoke finish. medium length, spice & fruit dominate on the finish Overall, this is an interesting and somewhat complex dram. If you like highland malts, you will like this one.
Perfume & floral, nice after shave maybe~tried it on a clean palate, just not anything to get all excited about.
Buying another 6 bottles after trying it...Its smooth
this vatted malt is deep and complex. with freshness, fruit, vanilla, baking spices, a nice sherry blanket an a very faint whiff of peat smoke. Price performer and any occasion drinker. embodies the goal of a good blend: balanced and competently easy to drink.
