A splendid blended malt, Sheep Dip is comprised of over a dozen Scotch single malts that have been matured for at least five years in a variety of first-fill sherry, first-fill bourbon, and refill oak casks. Great retro packaging too. The only thing is, the picture of the sheep on the bottle doesn't actually look like a sheep, it actually looks like an angry spaniel with horns.
Fragrant with notes of the coast, tangy, malty, honey, toffee. Youthful.
Rich, warming, malty, young and spirity.
Punchy, tangy.
Loved the name & taste when I bought my first bottle.
The whisky is really good. A great nose and smooth taste. It makes a pleasant change from the strong roughness of the smoky Islay malts. However, I noticed with some real surprise that you have a spelling error on the presentation box in which it was sold. There is really no excuse for spelling 'shearing' as 'sheering'. There is no alternative spelling of this word as far as I am concerned, or the Oxford English Dictionary. Please correct this on the next box run - and ask for your money back from your box printer. Regards and thanks for a great whisky. Prof Dr Peter Roberts.

Very nice. It is remarkably very similar to JW green label but a lot cheaper. Great find.
