A splendid blended malt, Sheep Dip is comprised of over a dozen Scotch single malts that have been matured for at least five years in a variety of first-fill sherry, first-fill bourbon, and refill oak casks. Great retro packaging too. The only thing is, the picture of the sheep on the bottle doesn't actually look like a sheep, it actually looks like an angry spaniel with horns.
Fragrant with notes of the coast, tangy, malty, honey, toffee. Youthful.
Rich, warming, malty, young and spirity.
Punchy, tangy.
I hated it. I gave it several goes but always found it too dry and bitter (oaky) for my taste. the first and only bottle I had to pour down the sink so far...
As a single malt scotch lover the name of the product is an accurate assessment.
Fricken outstanding!!! By far my favourite scotch!
Like many red wines, the sellers told me it is important to let it breathe a while before. In fact, I decided to "carafe" it couple of hours. It's a very good blended for such a sheep price ! Coucou from Lyon, France. Tropa Capricciosa
Stopped in for a bite to eat and nip. Tried the Sheep Dip... This squirmish whiskey really toggles the nostrils with sweet notes of harem and ganache. Hindu and Privette...delight the senses. Leaves a lingering je ne sais quoi ... with a slight hint of Charlemagne's honey ... don't leave Portland without trying this nectar of the gods.
