Chivas Regal
A cask strength, straight from the cask bottling of Scapa. This was distilled in 1993 and bottled by Chivas Brothers in 2009.
The nicest whisky I have tasted this year. Lovely taste and a strange hint of smokey despite it not having smoke or peat! If you can find it - enjoy!
Yes Yigit Isiker, keep learnning. I think this is a very good whisky along with all the other batches I`ve from the cask strength edition.

Being relatively new to the appreciation of single malts this was my first taste of a "cask strength" edition. It is simply unlike any whisky, malt or otherwise, I have tasted before. Intense, straight up the nose, with a burst of orange & grapefruit and the most satisfyingly smooth and warm afterburn, this is going to take some beating. I must say I'm not a great fan of "smoky" malts as yet, I much prefer those with a clean, citrus flavour along with hints of wood and saltyness, but I'm happy to keep learning. In the meantime though, this is my current #1 malt. Bliss in a glass.
