Distilled and blended in Canada, this Sam Barton blended whisky was aged for 5 years before it was bottled and released post-1999.

The whisky is quite typical Canadian, but with a very sweet-styled note in it. Pruny, slightly herbal and a massive sweet note to it. Not known for its finish, but at least the taste is very fruity, even brandy-like and subtle. Oily to looks and taste, but still manages to be fairly adequate, smooth and even pleasant, if you concentrate hard enough. A soft drink for sure, and honestly, for a Canadian it's a smooth experience with no kick to it whatsoever. Not much to it, but enough to satisfy and give a pleasant experience to those who prefer a gentle wave instead of a bite. 80/100 May be the best of the worst in my list, but it's still subtle enough to consider an okay choice for those who want a subtle alternative.
