This is an Irish whiskey that has enjoyed a finishing period in bourbon barrels before being bottled as part of the Peaky Blinder range from Sadler's. The name comes from a street gang that was around in the late 19th and early 20th Century, a member of which you can see on the label - note the all important cap, which apparently was where the gang name originates.
Blackcurrant and apple, with a hint of vanilla toffee underneath.
Melted chocolate, apricots, toasted oak and dried peels.
A subtle hint of cinnamon sticks around on the finish.
We really enjoyed this whiskey. Had it bought for a Christmas present. Now we are buying it for ourselves as we both really enjoyed it
My first time trying Irish whiskey and my first time trying blended whiskey. Safe to say I won't be going near blended whiskey again, absolutely disgusting! You simply cannot beat single malt. I will happily try more Irish whiskey though, so long as it isn't blended!
Had this bought as a Christmas prezzi. Well impressed. Goes down smooth with a sweet fruity aftertaste.
Real Irish whiskey with an old & epic taste. Spicy with a little bit fruit. Best of the Best, 5 stars completely from me. No wonder PB won a Gold Medal in World Spirits Competition 2018 ;-)
this whiskey best Irish ever so easy to drink almost magical
