    Peaky Blinder Irish Whiskey

This is an Irish whiskey that has enjoyed a finishing period in bourbon barrels before being bottled as part of the Peaky Blinder range from Sadler's. The name comes from a street gang that was around in the late 19th and early 20th Century, a member of which you can see on the label - note the all important cap, which apparently was where the gang name originates.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Blackcurrant and apple, with a hint of vanilla toffee underneath.

    Palate

    Finish

A subtle hint of cinnamon sticks around on the finish.

    Well worth the money

Smooth, fruity, sweet and at a very good price. I am about to order my second bottle.

    Worst whiskey ever

Bought from Amazon but trust me it tastes nothing like whiskey gave me a bad headache too

Master of Malt Customer Jan 1, 2020

    Vile, blender waste of money

This has all the flavour of a whiskey half it's the price and none of the fire. This isn't a great tasting whiskey, hell it's not even a good tasting whiskey, in fact, it tastes very much like a £10 bottle of own-brand supermarket scotch. It's a good smooth whiskey and goes down very nicely if you don't take in to account the god awful flavour; it tastes incredibly cheap but doesn't have the jet fuel burn that normally accompanies that budget flavour. If you enjoy this muck, well good for you, more descent whiskey for those of us with working taste buds, and also, what vile paint thinner are you used to? I'll be sticking with my Irish signal malt thanks, the peaky blinders can keep this foul blend.

    Fantastic

Bought the box set for my husband for his birthday, he said it was the best Irish whiskey he has had for a very long time, so can highly recommend this product
