    Peaky Blinder Irish Whiskey

This is an Irish whiskey that has enjoyed a finishing period in bourbon barrels before being bottled as part of the Peaky Blinder range from Sadler's. The name comes from a street gang that was around in the late 19th and early 20th Century, a member of which you can see on the label - note the all important cap, which apparently was where the gang name originates.

Bringing me back to Irish whiskey

Really surprised at this, smooth and sweet. All the notes advertised. I don't expect much from cheap gimmicks (Amazon) but this really paid off. I moved to scotch a few years ago, now I want to try a few Irish again

Easy, too easy to drink smooth sweet whiskey

Sweet and smooth with chocolate and fruit background, slight toffee taste. Spicy, been given sample will now buy bottle for myself.

Not Bad, Light and Sweet, Strong Cinnamon notes

Bought this on a little whim.... Not half bad. On nose - Toffee Apples In mouth - Waxy Bananas, buttery, sweet Finish - Strong sweet cinnamon Literally, like those cinnamon chews you used to get in the old sweet shop. It doesn't hang around too long after, light and easily drank, no real burn, no complexity. Not half bad at all.

Smooth & so easy to drink....if you're not a snob. Great price too.

Absolutely loved it & i bought it due to description & not the name....i've never watched Peaky Blinder. Sad that some bad comments seem to be from narcissistic snobs . I found it very smooth & delicious & had no side effects at all....headache etc . Bought a bottle earlier this week & my 2nd bottle will arrive tomorrow. Exactly what i was looking for. I buy Dalmore for my Sons though.

    Disgraceful marketing con

Had a bottle of this bought for Xmas, tasted appalling so I contacted the distributor (Halewood Wines and spirits) suggested it must be a bad batch and asked them to test and replace. Sent the bottle back, received a reply saying there was nothing wrong with the whiskey! And that a new bottle was being dispatched asap to me. Just goes to show this distributor, halewood, are marketing extremely substandard whiskey based on the success of a TV series! Bandwagon..... jumped on.
