The Roughstock Montana Spring Wheat Whiskey is made with a particular type of wheat that is more commonly used in bread making rather than distillation. However, that doesn't mean that it doesn't make a mighty fine wheat whiskey! After distillation, it's aged in used casks before enjoying a finishing period in heavily toasted French oak casks for a few months.

Wheat whiskey is an interesting taste, and there aren't many of them around, so maybe get a sample of this first before buying a bottle if you've not had wheat whiskey before. It's not like bourbon, rye, malt or even blended whiskey, it's something that stands by itself. This is light, pleasant, and very drinkable. Utterly delicious.
