American malt whiskey produced by Roughstock distillery in Montana. It is made with high-quality local barley and matured in charred virgin oak casks.
Not sure about the bad review. Must not be educated in American whiskey. But this one is very good tastes like vanilla and caramel. Very good. I think the price is a little steep since I just got it for $35 at a local bar.
Just opened a bottle. Tastes like a poor quality mescal. Rough with a nasty throat burn. Avoid. To think, for 50 quid you could get a bottle of high quality aged scotch. No contest.
Love it. I am not experienced enough to write a proper review, but if you have ever eaten straight wheat, that is what your drinking. Smooth. I liken it to a young tullamore.
