Rosebank 1991 - Cask Strength (Gordon and MacPhail)

Rosebank '91 Cask G&M Bottling Note

The vatting of four bourbon barrels of Rosebank. This was distilled in 1991 and bottled at 16 years - possibly the peak age for Rosebank - by Gordon and MacPhail.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Very fruity, cooked fruits, stone fruits, butterscotch. Unmistakably Rosebank on the nose. Dry floral notes, orange zest.

Palate: Good sweetness with notes of fruit and particularly zest, aniseed, dry toffee, duller than expected though.

Finish: Medium length finish, oak develops, less fruit.
