Released in March 2017, Roe & Co blended Irish whiskey marks Diageo's return to the Irish whiskey category having sold Bushmills a couple of years earlier. Roe & Co is bottled at 45% abv without chill filtration and is a blend of single malt and grain whiskeys matured exclusively in bourbon casks (a high proportion of which are first-fill).
Creamy, delightfully fragrant and remarkably rounded with notes of soft spice and mellow spun sugar along with warm hints of woody vanilla.
The quality and perfect balance of the blend is immediately apparent on the palate through its velvety texture and sweet flavours including spiced pears and vanilla.
Lingering and gentle, ending with a light creaminess.
This is my go-to Irish whiskey! It is delicious either neat or with ice.
I LOVE this whiskey! On the nose was red apples, candied red fruit, vanilla and a little spice, with the taste it started sweet, then vanilla and finished with a little spice. A lovely rounded whiskey would 100% recommend!
By far my favorite whiskey. I was able to buy 2 bottles while in Shannon on a layover while on my way back to the US after my first tour in the Middle East. Down to my last bottle hopefully you will be able to ship here soon I haven't found a whiskey that comes close to being as good as yours.
This is the first Irish whiskey I have tried that truly rivals my favorite scotches. I pick up Cream and candycane on the nose. I taste cream brulee, mint, lime and fruit on the palate. It is just bursting with flavors. My wife and I both enjoy it neat.
