Released in March 2017, Roe & Co blended Irish whiskey marks Diageo's return to the Irish whiskey category having sold Bushmills a couple of years earlier. Roe & Co is bottled at 45% abv without chill filtration and is a blend of single malt and grain whiskeys matured exclusively in bourbon casks (a high proportion of which are first-fill).
Creamy, delightfully fragrant and remarkably rounded with notes of soft spice and mellow spun sugar along with warm hints of woody vanilla.
The quality and perfect balance of the blend is immediately apparent on the palate through its velvety texture and sweet flavours including spiced pears and vanilla.
Lingering and gentle, ending with a light creaminess.

Tried it in my local pub and had to have a bottle to test it properly
Literally the worst whiskey I have ever had. It tastes like vodka mixed with a bit of whiskey.
Hello, Our current stock is all from Batch 1 but that is not to say the next lot of stock we receive will be the same! The Chaps @ Master of Malt
Are the bottles in the offer from 'Batch 1'?
Doesnt taste like whiskey to me, more like a variation on a flavored schnapps or other liqueur, with a hint of whiskey. If you're expecting this shock then its not bad at all. There's a lot of light fruit flavour in it, pear in particular and I would love to know how they got that without infusing it with some botanicals. For me, its definitely a whiskey for mixing, mainly because if its fruity, almost liqueur taste. Looking forward to trying it out in some cocktails but I wont be drinking much of it neat and as i like my whiskey neat, I probably wouldn't get another bottle
