Released in March 2017, Roe & Co blended Irish whiskey marks Diageo's return to the Irish whiskey category having sold Bushmills a couple of years earlier. Roe & Co is bottled at 45% abv without chill filtration and is a blend of single malt and grain whiskeys matured exclusively in bourbon casks (a high proportion of which are first-fill).
Creamy, delightfully fragrant and remarkably rounded with notes of soft spice and mellow spun sugar along with warm hints of woody vanilla.
The quality and perfect balance of the blend is immediately apparent on the palate through its velvety texture and sweet flavours including spiced pears and vanilla.
Lingering and gentle, ending with a light creaminess.

Maybe just not my preference but I find this whiskey far too sweet, almost syrupy. Was excited to try based on some of the glowing reviews but I think i’ll echo others who have said for the price there are plenty of better tasting whiskeys out there. Save your money.
I thought I had landed as a Teeling drinker, but Roe & Co compares really well! In fact, I thought it had a bit more complexity than standard Teeling, with a cool, slightly sweet note at the end. I'll be back!
Somewhere far north of Jameson and a little north of Powers.
I discovered this in Westport Ireland. Brought two bottles home to California but can’t find any more in the states. This is amazing whiskey and I can’t wait till I can buy it here. Nice and smooth with lots of flavor!
Excellent tipple, smooth could easily be mistaken for a whiskey 3 times the price try it you will not be disappointed
