A delightful single pot still Irish whiskey, Redbreast 12 Year Old is highly praised by a host of notable critics. Distilled at the Midleton site from malted and unmalted barley, it’s then matured in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry butts. We can't get enough of this multi-award-winning whiskey.
Nutty, rich and oily. There are notes of dried peels, ginger, linseed and cut fruits including a touch of melon.
Spicy with great body. Nuts and citrus (peel and juice) with hints of marzipan, dried fruits and a hint of Sherry. You turn it over in your mouth forever.
Long and creamy with custard and spice.

One of the best whiskies I ever had. Very smooth. Love it.
We have done blind taste tests and have successfully identified Red Breast every time. It is our whiskey of choice and we prefer the 12 year over others. You cannot go wrong adding this as a go to for sipping whiskey.
Whiskey tasting night with the boys. Hazelnut, varnish, caramel, vanilla, nutty overall. Amaretto on the taste on the initial taste then dissipates quickly. Not a bad thing just apparent. Has the 15 which is rounder and longer lasting but this is very good all the same.
Ever since I first tried this about 10 years ago, it has been my absolute favorite whiskey. I think it's a great value, and a great drink.
This is where it's at, folks.
