A delightful single pot still Irish whiskey, Redbreast 12 Year Old is highly praised by a host of notable critics. Distilled at the Midleton site from malted and unmalted barley, it’s then matured in a combination of American oak bourbon barrels and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry butts. We can't get enough of this multi-award-winning whiskey.
Nutty, rich and oily. There are notes of dried peels, ginger, linseed and cut fruits including a touch of melon.
Spicy with great body. Nuts and citrus (peel and juice) with hints of marzipan, dried fruits and a hint of Sherry. You turn it over in your mouth forever.
Long and creamy with custard and spice.

smooth and hearty, and worth the money
I absolutely love the whiskey taste. It goes down better than my finest cognacs. This whiskey needs No water, No ice and No mix. Now I hear it's going off the market. If I can't buy any in Canada, Can I buy some in the USA.
Introduced to this whiskey at RiRa in Las Vegas a couple of years ago. It's all I drink now.
The Best Irish for your buck without a doubt, definitely a lot better than Jamesons.
Maybe I got a substandard bottle but I was a bit disappointed. It's pleasantly spicy and has an oiliness not unlike Powers (which I like), but compared to bog standard Jameson it's not much more exciting.
