From Louisville in Kentucky comes Rabbit Hole's Boxergrail straight rye whiskey, which features a name inspired by the local boxing community. Combining 95% rye and 5% malted barley to help develop its wonderful mouth feel, this whiskey is terrific stuff, boasting all the creamy caramels and warming spices you could want from top notch rye.
Dark chocolate and toffee, underpinned by robust rye spiciness and a waft of warm sawdust.
Still plenty of oak and spice to it, well-balanced by vanilla and a hint of cigar box.
Brown sugar, apple, blackberry, cassia.

Had never tried rye whisky before and didn't know what to expect. It was light, smooth, no great depth or aftertastes but very pleasant and rounded with some body to it. On the nose there was some spice and toffee. No age statement and presumably a young whisky but remarkably smooth considering. I don't think it will ever challenge Scotch malt whisky for complexity but yes I would buy this again, price dependent. It's good to have variety and this is a good product.
