Isle of Raasay Dùn Cana - First Edition
Hey, look! It's a lovely new whisky from the Isle of Raasay distillery. Dùn Cana is a marriage of peated and unpeated spirit matured initially in American rye casks followed by a second maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks. These small casks impart a lot of flavour quickly into this single malt Scotch whisky, which was bottled at 52% ABV, natural colour, and non-chill filtered.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Bonfire smoke, oily walnuts, Christmas cake, red apple peel, and vanilla.
Palate
Dark chocolate, sultanas, gingerbread, aromatic woodsmoke, and caramelised nuts.
Finish
Dates and nutmeg.
