
This single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Raasay marks not only the first time the island distillery has released a single malt fully matured in Quercus Humboldtii Virgin Columbian Oak casks but also one of the first of its kind in the whole industry. It's released as part of the Oak Species Maturation Series which showcases how individual species of oak interacts with its Isle of Raasay single malt spirit. Isle of Raasay Columbian Oak is bottled at 50.7% ABV, natural colour, and non-chill filtered.
Heather smoke, sweet tobacco, blackberry, and butterscotch.
More dark fruits and vanilla with notes of ginger snap, Dundee Cake, and mint.
Sweet, lightly smoky, and oaky.
