It's the first independent bottling of single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Raasay Distillery, bottled up by Berry Bros. & Rudd! It was distilled in 2007, and finished in ex-Oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry quarter casks before being vatted together and bottled in 2021. 240 bottles were produced. Always thrilling to see whiskies from newer distilleries bottled up by brill bottlers.
Softly coastal, though balanced by rum-raisin ice-cream and zesty orange peel.
Stewed apples and chewy apricots, nutmeg, some wafts of sea breeze and vegetal peat.
Oatcakes and flapjacks.
