Old Pulteney Coastal Series - Pineau des Charentes
What we've got here is a whisky from a collection of four limited edition whiskies called The Coastal Series. Old Pulteney was inspired by coasts around the world that, like the North Sea air at Pulteney, affect how liquids age and kicks things off with Old Pulteney Pineau des Charentes, a new territory for the brand thanks to the use of casks that carry echoes of the sweet aperitif native to the Charente-Maritime region.

Nose
Acacia honey, white pepper, and creamy vanilla with orange peel and dried fruit in support.
Palate
Hazelnut whip, nutmeg, oak char, salted caramel, and red apples.
Finish
Coastal elements linger with baking spice and toffee sweetness.
