Shockingly Refreshing, I Love it!
I can’t agree with the masters that rated this poorly. I love proper #12 and it’s my new favourite blended Irish whiskey. I was so shocked at how good it was. Well done Conor, you have a Winner here.

Decent whiskey that is surprisingly oily for a budget. Ice will definitely open this one up
I am sensing evidence of whisky snobbery afoot in these reviews. The proper twelve is not going to blow your socks off right, but it is not even remotely close to the worst whiskey anyone has ever tasted. And I swear in 10 comments I've read it was listed as the worst whiskey ever in 4 of them.
The aroma is malty and oakie with sweet honey and vanilla. A very classic Irish whiskey. There is a hint of nuttiness like the subtly of walnut.
The taste is very oily which is apparent by the heavy legs dripping down the glass. It starts off vanilla and honey which give way to a slow hint of oak but still well behind the vanilla and honey sweetness.
The finish is oak and kinda dry considering how sweet the middle tasted. Also there is a pretty strong alcohol bite throughout the experience. I drink very strong espadin mezcal's so the alcohol is kinda pleasant for me. The people who post that this is the worst whisky they have ever tasted need to remove their accounts or stop being foolish.
