Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. Featuring malt and grain whiskeys drawn from bourbon barrels, nearly 100 blends were created before deciding upon the one in the bottle.
Vanilla pod, floral barley and a touch of sandalwood.
Orchard fruit and honey notes arrive first, backed up by a kick of white pepper.
Drying oak heat and a drizzle of caramel.

Tastes too cheap for a glass bottle. If this was in plastic I'd say 3 stars for knowing its place.
Good whiskey good flavor ?
Poor taste. Shame to Ireland
the tasting notes the author made are 1000% true. honeyed fruit hits for first half second, is pleasant, but then you get assaulted with nothing but strong pepper for 3 seconds, followed by the drying OAKY heat with bourbon note to finish off. Definitely disappointed as i wanted a more floral, herbaceous irish whiskey. i would give this a 1.5/5
awful. Don't bother.
