Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. Featuring malt and grain whiskeys drawn from bourbon barrels, nearly 100 blends were created before deciding upon the one in the bottle.
Vanilla pod, floral barley and a touch of sandalwood.
Orchard fruit and honey notes arrive first, backed up by a kick of white pepper.
Drying oak heat and a drizzle of caramel.

Proper 12? More like proper shit, seriously spend your money on something else
Very disappointed not a good whiskey very well promoted but just like the man himself.. doesn't live up to the hype. Prefer scotch
I thought it was quite similar to Wild Turkey which is disappointing to me. I'm an American and although there have been some fine distillers emerge within the last few years, most of it sucks in my opinion. Noone makes whiskey as fine as the Irish. I'll put the Canadians second and how close is debatable. As soon as I popped the cork I smelled the Turkey. It just doesnt meet the standards of the smooth Irish spirits I love.
Packs a punch and not in a good way. Save your money and buy a proper whisky.
It has been helped by the master promoter but it's a horrible advert for Irish whiskey. Get back to the drawing board.
