Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. Featuring malt and grain whiskeys drawn from bourbon barrels, nearly 100 blends were created before deciding upon the one in the bottle.
Vanilla pod, floral barley and a touch of sandalwood.
Orchard fruit and honey notes arrive first, backed up by a kick of white pepper.
Drying oak heat and a drizzle of caramel.
Excellent for the price. I usually drink 100 dollar bottles and this holds up. I am excited to see what this company brings to the market in the future. Great start for a new distillery.
Buffalo trace is my favorite bourbon whiskey so that’s my norm. I tried this proper 12 Irish whiskey with my Bro in law and it’s great! Better then Jameson in my opinion. Try it and enjoy!
