Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. Featuring malt and grain whiskeys drawn from bourbon barrels, nearly 100 blends were created before deciding upon the one in the bottle.
Vanilla pod, floral barley and a touch of sandalwood.
Orchard fruit and honey notes arrive first, backed up by a kick of white pepper.
Drying oak heat and a drizzle of caramel.

The story is that of yet another quick cash grab. McGregor was approached by a Whiskey manufacturer of his old neighborhood and they offered him a very high commission if in return they could use the McGregor brand. The Whiskey was slapped together faster than Aldo could stay in the ring. The result, a poor generic Whiskey with the sole intention to make a quick buck by slapping a big name on a bottle.
