Tastes awful, taste buds must be damaged from all of the fighting. Total garbage
I read a review that described it as “nail polish remover meets vanilla extract” that’s exactly how I described it when I tried it. Heavy ethanol smell and you can tell they mask it with artificial flavors. Don’t wast your money.
Hot and thin on the nose. Suggestions of heather honey, vanilla, assorted fruit, but most of that is lost in the nose burn. Thin and cardboardy on the palate. Cereal, a hint of pink grapefruit, not much else. Short, raw finish.
Honestly just bought it out of curiosity to taste how bad it was. It did not disappoint. Business Insider was spot-on. https://www.businessinsider.com/conor-mcgregor-proper-no-twelve-whiskey-review-2018-9
The people writing negative reviews are disgruntled towards McGregor or have poor palates, probably both. I wasn’t overly impressed but it’s a good whiskey. Also not sure why there’s complaints on the price. I paid $21 in the states.
