Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. Featuring malt and grain whiskeys drawn from bourbon barrels, nearly 100 blends were created before deciding upon the one in the bottle.
Vanilla pod, floral barley and a touch of sandalwood.
Orchard fruit and honey notes arrive first, backed up by a kick of white pepper.
Drying oak heat and a drizzle of caramel.
Basically a supermarket value brand. Awful. These people saying otherwise have no idea what whisky, or flavour, is.

Just not very good. Anyone saying otherwise is either a Conor fan, or has poor taste in whisky. It's thinly flavored ethanol.
To sum it up, it’s surprisingly smooth to taste, with vanilla and caramel after taste. I have a lot of hope because this company is only like 6 years old, and it’s almost on par with company’s like powers, Bushmills, Tully, and Jameson’s. Who have spent hundreds of years perfecting their whiskey. To make this kind of product takes time to perfect, for as young as this whiskey is, it is phenomenal. A lot of room for improvement, this a great first step. I have 5 stars on the grounds it’s a great young whiskey and the fact is there is a master distiller helping Conor. Plus 10% of donations goes to first responders.
