    Just okay

it's not a 5 star and not a 1 star... 3 is about right... it's not very good or complex and it's kinda hot... its overpriced for sure... okay for mixing... dont drink it neat or straight like Jamieson.... it's just okay... money better spent on others in the same process point classification.

Great whiskey. Don't believe the haters.

Great whiskey. Almost like Jameson but smoother and better. 100% recommend this.

    Disappointing

Huge fan of McGregor, but his whiskey is just not good. I really want/have tried to like it but it’s pretty terrible. It would be bottom shelf whiskey if it wasn’t for the name backing it. If you like good whiskey and not just trends, save your money.

Taste is subjective, but this whiskey doesn't stand with it's counterparts.

I don't actively follow MMA, but I'm a fine of fine spirits. Whiskey is one of my favorite kinds, bourbon being my whiskey of choice almost always. It's this review thread is full of people who let the sponsor of this drink sway their ideas on it. I first had this with my two roommates (*who brought it back after going to a Connor McGregor fight) we took a shot together and all had a similar disappointment in the taste. They don't drink liquor straight like I do so they disliked it even more than me, not being used to the alcohol taste. It's about as good as Tullamore Dew. That's to say it wasn't very good at all. It wasn't particularly smooth and left an unpleasant aftertaste. If you aren't too emotionally attached to your whiskey being Irish I'd recommend some Makers Mark. I've also heard some good things about crown Royal. A good scotch will also change how you see dark liquors, if you're willing to Shell out the cash.
