Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. Featuring malt and grain whiskeys drawn from bourbon barrels, nearly 100 blends were created before deciding upon the one in the bottle.
Vanilla pod, floral barley and a touch of sandalwood.
Orchard fruit and honey notes arrive first, backed up by a kick of white pepper.
Drying oak heat and a drizzle of caramel.

Amazing
Not the worst but nowhere near the best. All the 4 and 5 stars are probably paid reviews. Too sweet and not a great taste to be good whiskey.
I recommend trying this Whiskey. For myself its perfect as an affordable everyday neat (if you can get it for a good price.) Lately I alternate between bottles of Eagle Rare (10 year Bourbon) and Proper No. 12. To me It has a wonderful smooth honey, leather and copper and caramel end. So yeah obviously I really enjoy it and thought it deserved a shout out. well done.
Smooth whiskey with an overall great taste. I am a big fan and will gladly drink this over Jameson every time.
Very raw Irish whiskey. For the price get a bottle of black bush, crested 10 or Teelings.
