Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey produced with the help of former Bushmills distillery manager David Elder. Featuring malt and grain whiskeys drawn from bourbon barrels, nearly 100 blends were created before deciding upon the one in the bottle.
Vanilla pod, floral barley and a touch of sandalwood.
Orchard fruit and honey notes arrive first, backed up by a kick of white pepper.
Drying oak heat and a drizzle of caramel.

I have drank a few whiskys but I never smell or tast anything but I got caramel and sandlewood from this whisky guess I got a broke nose and palate. P12 is drinkable fairly smooth doesn't bite the back of your throat when it goes down, not a bad drink.
Didn't know what to expect given the negative feedback here, although I'm not sure how you call it a review when people use one only word! No doubt from McGregor haters. In all honesty, from the neck pour I thought it was pretty decent, and for once I picked up the same tasting notes as MOM. It is what it is, decent enough for the price - I've paid less for better, and more for worse. Will buy again when this one's done.
I really thought that this drink was going be just your typical whiskey but how wrong was I it's smooth beautiful to taste great after taste don't mess around mixing this drink just drink it in all it's glory mcgreggor you've nailed it my son good on ya
Smooth with a good taste, not the strongest but doesn’t need ice or a mixer. A proper whisky
I'd love to know the % of caramel colouring they add to this. It tastes very rushed, unfinished and overall a bit fake. No pride or passion in this - just purely money driven.
