    Better than expected.

I'll admit, I bought it as a Conor Mcgregor fan but it took a while as I didn't expect much quality due to the reviews. One day I finally bit the bullet. There was nothing wrong with it in my opinion. I enjoyed drinking it. Its nothing special and I would rather put a bit extra in to get something like a Glen Morangie for a decent Whiskey without forking out too much. Would I buy it again? Yes I probably would but not often and probably smashing it in with a friend rather than having a tumble in the evening. I suppose it is a good one for mixing but can be drank straight. Decent for the price. I do feel that people are overly harsh on this whiskey but that's their opinion. Probably not so much on this site but in other areas I suspect people wrote negative reviews who haven't even tasted it due to not liking Mcgregor.

    Move along to better.

Didn't know anything about Conner McGregor's connection to this whisky when I bought the bottle. I like Irish Whiskey and this one was on sale. Its...ok. Not undrinkable, but nothing stands out. Acidic aftertaste that turns metallic. Probably better on lots of ice, or with a mixer. Bushmills is a far better choice at around the same price, at least here in Canada. I won't buy this again.

    Good taste for price

For that price, you really cant complain! Smooth taste and if you are not a whiskey expert you wont see a big difference to the more expensive ones
