Port Askaig 8 Year Old
Released as part of the 2023 Port Askaig relaunch, this 8 Year Old is aged initially in American oak barrels before spending over five years in a selection of bourbon barrels, toasted American oak barrels, PX sherry butts, and refill hogsheads. Like all Port Askaig whisky, it’s non-chill filtered and free from added colouring.

Nose
An interplay of vanilla sweetness, zesty, citrus, and Islay’s iconic peat smoke.
Palate
Seagrass, limestone, burnt tires, liquorice, and dark peat.
Finish
Long and smoky.
