Created by Richard Paterson, the chap behind the Sheep Dip range, comes another farmyard-themed whisky - it’s Pig’s Nose! Fear not, of course there weren’t actually any snouts harmed in the making of this blend. The reason behind the name is because it's as 'smooth as a pig's nose', as the saying goes.
To be honest, we’ve never actually touched a pig’s nose, though after tasting this whisky we’re sure they must be very smooth indeed.
Gristy and youthful, some fruit, barley malt, porridge. Young but very sweet.
Creamy and sweet. Soft, gentle, quite gristy, rather oily and slightly coastal. Hints of salt.
Medium length, salty butters and caramel.

Had a bottle given for Xmas. Not keen on the name but the contents were excellent. Smooth and strong without the raw fire that some blends have. I shall buy more at this reasonably priced product. Memory man.
Having just finished my first bottle of Pigs Nose I nose I will be back for more. A very smooth whiskey at a very good price.
Tried this for the first time in a pub last night. Caught my eye, thought what is that and tried it out. Quality blend, raisony malty smell; sweet, fudgy and buttery taste. Not a bad price either!
I am from Utah usa. And I'm a bourbon drinker. But I asked about scotch and said I just don't like the peat flavor in most scotch. He recommended pigs nose. Well now I'm hooked. I start the night with one glass and before I know it the bottle is gone. It s like liquid carmel. So smooth and tasty. Honestly I'm in love.
Yes it is. It is genuinely smooth, delicious and goes down very easy. It is now my favourite whiskey and I recommend it to everyone. Take a bite and hope that the pig doesn't bite back.
