Paul John Whisky, India’s most awarded single malt, presents its Christmas Edition 2025, the 8th release in its much-loved annual range of festive limited editions, and the oldest whisky that they have ever released.
The Paul John Christmas Edition 2025 is first matured for five years in bourbon casks, then finished for two years in 250-litre cream sherry casks of oloroso and Pedro Ximénez (PX), before the two finishes are vatted together and aged for a final year.
There are 6,254 bottles in total, with just 420 bottles for the UK. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! As with all of Paul John whiskies, the 2025 Christmas Edition is a non-chill-filtered malt with no additives, and it's bottled at a higher 48% ABV than the standard 46% previous editions were presented at.
Ripe plum, dark cherry, candied orange peel, and orange blossom honey, complemented by soft toffee, cocoa, and nutmeg.
A refined balance of apple, stone fruits, caramel, roasted nuts, and tropical sweetness, enhanced by notes of spiced rum, butterscotch, and dark caramel.
Long and creamy, with lingering tones of sweet oak, molasses, dried berries, and a subtle hint of Christmas cake — a fitting tribute to the season’s spirit.
