“I have become a regular at a local store here in my hometown in Tennessee. I have been drinking whiskey since I was in my teens and I have always been partial too it. Now I have recently delved into the scotch, and boy have I been enjoying the journey. On my weekly trip to the liquor store I had the opportunity to meet the owner, and he offered me a glass of this slender stuff. I must say, this is the best thing I have ever tried! Feel lucky if you get the opportunity to try this. It's absolutely delicious. ”

Nose

Wood, but so very balanced with nuttiness, toffee and a rum-like complexity, that it’s just perfect. Wood shavings, hints of dried berry fruits, and a faint shade of pepper provide a mouth-watering aroma…

Palate

Buttery and very rum-like in the mouth. Candy floss sweetness, caramel richness, and the softest, juiciest oak imaginable.

Finish

Hints of exotic spices combine with Demerara. Long and rich.

If you can find it...hoard it!!

Amazing, smooth, complex notes from the nose to the finish. Was lucky to find this at our local wine bar in Vermont.

Aggressive and interesting

Higher proof than the 20, but with far less complexity. It's pretty darned good.
