    Paddy Irish Whiskey

A triple distilled blended Irish Whiskey produced in Cork and made, unusually, with all three styles of Irish whiskey: single pot still, single malt and grain. First produced in 1779, it wasn't until 1913 that it changed it's name to Paddy after legendary salesman Paddy Flaherty. Before that it had the rather catchy name of "Cork Distilling Company Map of Ireland Old Irish Whiskey". Rolls right off the tongue that one.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

The nose is oily and fresh with floral notes, cereal grains and plenty of fruit.

    Palate

The palate is sweet and of medium-body with toffee and cereals, a rosewater note with a little butterscotch and vanilla.

    Finish

The finish is spicy and dry with a little black pepper and oak.

    Outstanding.

Better than any blended Scotch I've ever tasted. Smooth with great depth of flavour.

Good at at a bargain price

Would not buy another bottle. Acceptable, and yes, better to begot for this price. Smooth combined with a sweetish, mouth burn sensation and superficial taste. Not much complexity or depth.

One of the Best for under $30 U.S.

I bought this from a local Dallas area liquor store. I must say this is one of the smoothest Irish Whiskey's I've ever had. Paddy's Old Irish Whiskey is one of the best I've had.

Lovely floral honey & vanilla with a soft medium finish

My Father in Law called Paddy who is now in Heaven inspired me to try Paddy Irish whiskey, And I am not surprised to find. In 2020, Paddy's was named the Best Blended Irish Whiskey at the International Whiskey Competition. The whiskey also earned a silver medal and second place for the Best Irish Whiskey at the event.
